Candle Safety
Taking the time to read and understand while practicing these Candle Safety tips will ensure you experience is a pleasant one! Never leave a burning candle unattended! DO NOT burn near flammable objects such as curtains, drapery, lampshades, and blankets. Burn only on heat resistant surfaces. The heat from the candle can damage furniture. Do not move a burning candle or place in a drafty area. Keep candle wax free of foreign material like matches or wick trimmings. Keep wick trimmed to ¼” (about the thickness of a pencil) to avoid excess smoke and proper burning. Do not burn if container is cracked. Discontinue burning when ½” of wax remains in bottom of candle.
